Deposit and cancellation charge policy

At Deepcut Village Dental Practice we will require a deposit when you book an appointment. This will be deducted from your treatment costs at your next visit.

We understand that sometimes cancellations cannot be helped due to emergency situations and we will take all valid circumstances into account.

We will always try to be sensitive to personal circumstances in the event of late cancellations and we will always be as flexible as possible with our patients – that’s why your deposit can be refunded to you on request if you cancel the appointment with more than 48 hours’ notice.

If you do not request refund of your deposit, it will be held on your account and may be used against the cost of future treatment.

However, we reserve the right to retain your deposit in case of late cancellations (any cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice).

If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice it is very difficult for us to rebook your appointment slot which means that we are unlikely to treat another patient in your place. This means that our team will not be treating any patients, but we’ll still have to pay them all and all of our running costs, and it means that other patients just like you will have had to wait longer than they needed to for an appointment.

Please note: you should NOT rely on our text messages as the sole reminder of your appointment as we will not be responsible for any appointments missed as a result of non-delivery of the text message reminder, regardless of the reasons for its failure.
